Sherry did an excellent job of capturing the devastating impacts and hardships endured by her family, community and state during this historic disaster. In telling her personal story she left an important detailed historical account of the disaster while providing a history of the Klamath River and the families and living conditions of those around her. Her book was compelling, interesting and easy to read…and hard to put down. I highly recommend it.
